Full Buck Moon 2018 🌕🐎 . Last night's full moon rises above the smoke filled air in Vancity. Directly below, the Electra Building (blue & green lights) on Burrard St. with Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre above English Bay Beach on the right. Unfortunately, we here in North America didn't get to see the Total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon). The colour of the moon here was most likely caused by the large wild land fire on the Department of National Defence lands in Richmond, BC which filled our skies with smoke yesterday. The moon didn't appear in the sky until it was well over the city.
