Sea Stack Sunset πŸŒ… . Siwash Rock, Skalsh or Slhx̱i7lsh is one of the most popular places to take a photo in Vancouver. This view never gets old even though it's about 32 million years old *** Captured yesterday evening from the Seawall in Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ Sept 11, 2018 🌞 . . ***"About 32 million years ago, a volcanic dike formed in the sedimentary rock that forms the foundation of the park (sandstone and mudstone). Magma was forced to the surface through a fissure in the Earth's crust creating the basalt stack, which is more resistant to erosion than the softer sandstone cliffs. Siwash Rock is the only such sea stack in the Vancouver area." ~ Wikipedia πŸ“° . . . . . . . #SiwashRock #SeaStack #StanleyPark #Vancouver @Vancouver_Canada #VeryVancouver #VisitaVancouver #MixVancouver #CuriocityVan #DailyHiveVan #VancityFeature #WanderVancouver #Photos604 #604Now #VancouverIsAwesome #ExploreBC #ExploreCanada @Canada #CanadasWorld #TheGlobeWanderer #NarcityCanada #LiveTravelChannel #ImagesOfCanada #EnjoyCanada #CanonCanada #ShareCanGEO #TourCanada  #ShareTheCoast #GeorgiaStraight #MyPortCity
