Polar Lights 💚💙💜 This morning's light show along the Sea to Sky at Porteau Cove. Looking north over the Howe Sound at the Aurora Borealis dancing over Squamish. There's nothing like stargazing in the middle of this most southerly fjord in North America. When I arrived, the moon had just set and large columns of light were spiking into the sky. By the time I set up, they had calmed down and I had missed the peak. C'est la vie. Did you know “Porteau” (porte d'eau) is translated from French into English and means “Water's Gate”?
