Riding on the Wind 🏊‍♂️πŸ’¨ . The end of another smoky day in Vancouver as the #BCWildfires rage on in British Columbia. A slight northwesterly wind blows the smoke towards our friends in Spokane, WA πŸ’¨ The giant whirligig has been missing for a few years and is now back up at the Kitsilano Pool. This windmill produces enough electricity to power all of downtown Vancouver πŸ˜‚ I'm kidding. It's a 22yo piece of art called #WindSwimmer and was created by artist Douglas Taylor. She paddles and kicks her feet in the wind. Looking over the pool, over English Bay to the west end of Vancouver.  Captured yestereve from the Kits Pool in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ August 20, 2018 🌫 . . . . . . . #Kitsilano #KitsPool #Vancouver #Spokane @Vancouver_Canada #VeryVancouver #VisitaVancouver #MixVancouver #CuriocityVan #DailyHiveVan #VancityFeature #WanderVancouver #Photos604 #604Now #VancouverIsAwesome #ExploreBC #ExploreCanada @Canada #TheGlobeWanderer #LiveTravelChannel #ImagesOfCanada #EnjoyCanada #CanonCanada #ShareCanGEO #TourCanada #NorthwestCreatives #ShareTheCoast #GeorgiaStraight
